  • Added "Redo but keep recorded trial" functionality in the trial confirmation dialog
  • Fixed sit to stand duration calculation for some edge cases with missed detections
  • Improved wireless streaming functionality to minimize latency -- particularly when recording from 7+ Opals at the same time
  • Significant improvement in battery life for all recording modes
  • Implemented parallel v2 firmware updates (7 at a time) to speed up the update process.
  • Improved USB enumeration of devices in Windows
  • Modified the "Import and Conversion Manager" to allow the conversion of logged data directly off of the Opals. This removes the requirement to first copy all of the files to your local hard drive before conversion.
  • Fix to v2 Opal screen update issue, where the Opal display may have shown dated information (e.g., the previously configured label)
  • Re-enabled wireless streaming from sample rates other than 128Hz
  • Improved handling of sensor initialization to minimize errors that are sometimes encountered during undocking
  • Added the ability to crop logged recordings based on v2 button events
  • Added new "Logged Data Journal" tool
  • Fixed logging of external synchronization events

  • Metrics are now saved in a separate database and lazily loaded to reduce memory constraints and speed up application start-up
  • Fix for issue where application may hang on the “Analysis” phase
  • Walk and SAW analysis update: better gait cycle detection performance for shorter trials (requires re-analysis)
  • TUG and 5x Sit to Stand analysis update: Trial duration now uses the detected sit-to-stand and stand-to-sit events for the calculation, instead of the full recording duration (requires re-analysis)

  • Fixed bug where clearing logged data files on V2 Opals would freeze the Opal and require resetting
  • Increased screen refresh rate on V2 Opals to remove slight flicker
  • Added ability to save annotations during Mobility Lab trials and have them included in the CSV export

  • Improved orientation tracking. Previous version may result in bad ROM measurements

  • Firmware update to improve low power standby mode
  • Gait Speed, Double Support, Gait Cycle Time, and Cadence changed from unilateral to bilateral metric type (requires re-analysis)
  • GaitTrack algorithm improved for better accuracy in step detection and detection of stance periods (requires re-analysis)
  • Added ability to save annotations while recording and export these to CSV
  • This release is not being pushed to V1 hardware users

  • Fix for overlapping "Skip" dialog bug
  • Added support for 5-digit sensor IDs (e.g., SI-16123)
  • Added metrics to indicate the number of detected events (e.g., gait cycles, turns, sit to stands, etc.). These are only available through the CSV export functionality. This change was not considered large enough to warrant forcing users to re-analyze their entire data sets. If these new metrics are desirable, click on Tools->"Reanalyze Data" and select the "Force" option. (requires re-analysis)

  • Raw data plots now available through the report dialog, showing the recorded inertial data, along with overlays of the detected events (e.g., gait cycles, turns, etc.)

  • Numerous small fixes and improvements
