Moving a trial from one subject to another

There is no 1-click way to achieve this, but it can be done. This article assumes you will be moving a trial from subject A to subject B.

1. Select the trial that you want to move in subject A's "Trials" tab. 
2. Click the "Export" button. Make sure you select the Metadata (XML) and Raw Data (H5) options. Complete the export process. 
3. While still in the "Trials" tab, delete the trial by selecting it and clicking the "Delete" button. 
4. Navigate to the "Subjects" folder and select subject B. Select or create (and then select) the session that you wish to import the trial into.
5. Click the Tools->"Import Mobility Lab Data" option in the menu bar at the top of the application. 
6. Navigate to the folder you exported which will be named "Mobility_Lab_Trial_Export_{date_stamp}" and open it. 
7. Double click on the "TrialMetadata.xml" file to begin the import.

The process is similar for moving a session from one subject to another, except you export the session from the "Sessions" tab and select the target subject (as opposed to the session) when performing the import.

This approach can also be used to move an entire subject from one study to another by exporting the subject from the "Subjects" tab and selecting the target subject when performing the import.
