Compatibility with Apple OSX 10.10 "Yosemite" (and earlier)

OSX 10.11 (El Capitan), made significant changes to how USB devices are handled. Due to these differences, APDM's V2 hardware is not supported on versions of OSX before El Capitan. Symptoms include very long configuration times (minutes per-opal, instead of a seconds). It is also possible that you hardware simply will not work. We strongly encourage that if you are using OSX Yosemite (10.10), Mavericks (10.9) or earlier, that you update to El Capitan before using our V2 hardware.
