Mobility Lab distinguishes between primary and secondary measures for any given test type. Primary measures are ones that we believe are the most useful and informative to the user. There are always 9 or fewer primary measures and they are plotted in compact reports and on a separate page in full reports.
The rules below specify what status is given to a recorded trial after validation:
- Valid: All of the primary measures could be calculated (these are the measures that appear first and separately in the reports).
- Attention: Some measures were calculated, but at least one primary measure was not.
- Invalid: no measures could be calculated, which is usually an indication of a user, instrument, or software error.
