In OSX, your application "can't be opened because it is from an unidentified developer"

This is a security "feature" of OSX Mountain Lion and later. If you try and launch the application from Launchpad, you may get the message that "Your security preferences allow installation of only apps from the Mac App Store and identified developers" and you will only be presented with an "OK" button to close the warning.

The easiest way to get around this security issue is as follows:

• In Finder, navigate to the "Applications" folder (where your Motion Studio and/or Mobility Lab folders should be located).
• Open the Motion Studio or Mobility Lb folder and locate the application icon.
• Ctrl+Click on the application icon and select "Open" from the menu.
• You should now be given the option to open the application (instead of the "OK" option if you open the application through Launchpad).
